For the Community

Story-Based Management training is available for businesses, organizations, and community groups interested in developing their collective story and learning how to build community dynamics.

ATTEND

The Anne Frank Project invites you to attend our annual Social Justice Festival.

On September 25 and 26, 2024, The Anne Frank Project will host its 16th annual Social Justice Festival, AFP 2024: Building Our Collective Story.

The Social Justice Festival is a celebration of stories that build community. Held over the course of three days, the festival includes workshops, performances, and art that teaches the tools and vocabulary we need to to improve the world. Hosted each year at Buffalo State University, the festival is open and free to the community.

LEARN

Let the Anne Frank Project help your business or organization tell their stories.

The skillset used to create original stories is identical to those necessary for conflict management, community building, and the exploration of identity;  all vital foundations in today’s business environments where internal employee cultures must mesh with external branding demands.

Our Story-Based Management approach teaches tangible skills and enhanced vocabulary that will impact the lives of your employees, your audiences, their families, and their communities. Instead of focusing on what you know, our methods focus on what you can do with what you know. This creative and collaborative process engages organizations in specific action steps that directly transfer to professional outcomes as well as the personal lives of your communities as you build your collective stories… together.

GROW

Join one of the Anne Frank Project’s scheduled SBL or SBM training sessions at Buffalo State.

The Anne Frank Project facilitates regular two-day training sessions on the Buffalo State University campus each August and January.  These professional development opportunities bring together educators, professionals, volunteers, and other community members interested in learning the story-based approach to bring back to their specific arenas.  Following these training sessions, follow-up sessions can be scheduled, tailored to each organization’s specific needs and locations.
